Organised by the EPO with the support of the epi, this training event has been designed for patent attorneys and IP professionals with experience in filing and prosecuting European patent applications. Featuring EPO lawyers and examiners along with senior European patent attorneys, the programme includes:
the impact of the amendments in the new Guidelines for Examination, with the focus on how to optimise patent prosecution both before grant (e.g. filing amendments and auxiliary requests) and after grant (e.g. Early Certainty and oral proceedings)
procedural changes which are not covered by the Guidelines but which are nevertheless relevant to professional representatives
